Join us on the 1st Thursday of every month, 12-1 PM (EST) from own computer or smart device!

Cincinnati ECHO Epilepsy/Neurology teleconferences are free, interactive, webinar-based mentoring sessions to help you with the many critical aspects of accessing and providing neurological care for your patients. Seizures and other neurological problems can be complex for primary care to manage. We all know that wait times for neurology consultations may be longer than you and your patient want. Our consultants are experts on migraine, movement, epilepsy, and Alzheimer's disease. They offer their advice and encourage discussion on all your questions and concerns for you, your practice staff, and providers.

Each monthly session will begin with a consultant presenting a pearl; an evidence-based clinical practice in caring for patients with epilepsy or other neurological disorders. Topics may include marijuana for epilepsy and other neurological indications, primary care approach to seizure diagnosis and treatment and the role of the Epilepsy Center, primary care approach to treatment of Alzheimer's disease and dementia, mood disorders and anxiety in epilepsy (including self-management), and the primary care approach to treatment of migraine and severe headache.

All health care professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, social workers, community health workers, and other office staff can participate live from any internet device from any location. All participants are encouraged to ask questions and offer their own suggestions during each session.
